Hi, I’m Lindsey Belden and I am a second-year student in the Coordinated Program in Dietetics at Wayne State University, graduating in April 2020. I have a lot of diverse interests in the dietetics field, but once I become a registered dietitian, I am hoping to work either in eating disorder recovery or as a Certified Diabetes Educator, or maybe both!
Hi, my name is Amy Hughes. I’m a senior in Madonna University’s didactic program and will be graduating in May, where I will then pursue a distance dietetic internship. My passion is nutrition education, specifically for children. I spend much of my free time volunteering and sharing my passion for nutrition at my children’s school as well as on social media and at their events. As a future RDN, I plan to continue educating others in a community or clinical setting and eventually, private practice.

Students are always looking for opportunities to showcase their talents and learn more about the variety that the nutrition and dietetics field has to offer. You’re in luck, because many dietitians have projects and programs that they need student volunteers to help them with!
If you are a dietitian or nutrition professional looking for assistance on a project or program you're working on, or if you'd like to mentor a student, you can have your contact information posted here.
Students, check back often for vounteer opportunities in your area.
