This position will provide temporary coverage for Registered Dietitian Nutritionists who provide nutrition care to patients in C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital and Von Voigtlander Women’s Hospital.

This position will provide comprehensive nutrition services to a variety of medical and surgical patients by performing nutrition assessments and developing nutrition care plans using the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Nutrition Care Process, providing recommendations for nutrition intervention, conducting nutrition education, and displaying a high level of customer service, attentiveness and consideration to patient care while providing evidence-based medical nutrition therapy.
Bachelors degree in a recognized field of science or directly related to the duties of the position.
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certified by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
Experience working as a RDN in an inaptient, clinical healthcare setting
Experience with pediatric medical nutrition therapy including nutrition support therapy
Hours: 40 hours per week (5 days per week)Shift/Days: 8 hours per day (hours may vary)
This position may be underfilled at a lower classification depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
