This classification functions as the Breastfeeding Coordinator for the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC). Organizes and monitors the work process, ensures program compliance and provides superior customer service to our clients and staff. Plans, develops, implements and controls breastfeeding promotion, protection and support activities for the residents of Macomb County and participants in the WIC program. Provides breastfeeding training and consultation services to Health Department staff and outside agencies. RD/RDN required. Must obtain an advanced breastfeeding credential within one year of hire.
