Call for Nominations
The Michigan Academy announces the call for nominations for positions through the August Link e-newsletter. Nominations are accepted year round by sending an email to email@example.com
Solicitations for Nominees
The Nominating Committee sends requests for nominations to the current Michigan Academy BOD, the district presidents and the chairs of dietetic practice groups.
Nominees are asked to send biographical sketches, digital photos and curriculum vitas or resumes. Materials submitted are reviewed and compared to the skill sets of each position.
The Nominating Committee meets in late fall to review the materials submitted by candidates, taking into consideration which positions are available on the ballot and matching candidates to skill sets.
